Dear Lia:

First, let me congratulate you on your upcoming Bat Mitzvah. I wish you well. I am not sure that 1 have great words of advice to you. I cannot improve on the sages.

I do hope that you will live a life of kindness and service to the various communities, in which we all live and strive. I hope that you balance family, school, profession, and the concerns of the wider world.

I hope that you have a long and fruitful life and that you do good in the world.

Sincerely.

Henry S. Bienen President
