From:

Jerry Reinsdorf
Owner, Chicago Bulls

Dear Lia:

As you approach your Bat Mitzvah, you will undoubtedly be excited to have the long awaited day arrive and pleased to see the pride your family and friends will take in your accomplishment.

Many years of study and hard work will finally be rewarded and a celebration will certainly be in order. The celebration, however, will mark a beginning rather than an end. Your Bat Mitzvah will mark the beginning of your life as an adult member of the Jewish community with a lifetime of learning and contributions ahead of you.

Two of life's most important lessons are learned on the way to a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. One is that life's most worthwhile achievements do not come without hard work and the loyal support of family and friends. The other is that the process of learning never ends.

Mazel Tov on your accomplishments to date and best wishes for continued success in your adult life.

Sincerely,

Jerry M. Reinsdorf
